| Windows ME Dial-up Networking
Setup |
 |
| Step 1. Click on the Start
menu and move the mouse over top of Setting to open the sub-menu
and then click on Control Panel. |

| Step 2. In the Control Panel,
locate and double-click on Dial-Up Networking. |
 |
| Step 3. Double-click on Make New
Connection. |
 |
| Step 4. Enter Hockhocking
Internet for the name of the computer you are dialing, then
click on Next. |

| Step 5. Enter the area code and
phone number, then click Next. |
 |
| Step 6. Click Finish. |
 |
| Step 7. At the Dial-Up
Networking window, right-click on the Hockhocking Internet
icon and choose Properties from the submenu that appears. |

Step 8. Click on the Networking
tab at the top of the properties screen.
Make sure that only "TCP/IP" and "Enable Software Compression" have
check marks in their respective boxes. If any other items are
checked, click on the check mark to remove it. Click Ok to return to
the Dial-Up Networking. |

| Step 9. Right-click on
Hockhocking Internet and choose “Create Shortcut”. A dialog box
will appear that says, |

| Step 10. “Windows can not create
a shortcut here. Do you want Windows to place the shortcut on the
desktop instead?” Click Yes. Close Dial-Up Networking. |
